Studied at Heidelberg University and Freiburg University in East Asian Art History, Pre-Modern Chinese Studies, Political Sciences, Islamic Studies and Early History; Fudan University Shanghai, Department of Foreign Languages.
Graduated from Heidelberg University in East Asian Art History.

Scholarship holder and participant at the postgraduate studies program „Bild, Körper, Medium – eine anthropologische Perspektive“ at the Hochschule für Gestaltung Karlsruhe.

Active in the management of various exhibitions in museums, galleries and private collections, and museum education.

PhD thesis: „Von Dayi nach Venedig und zurück: Die Metamorphosen der Skulpturengruppe Shouzuyuan/Rentcollection Courtyard zwischen kulturrevolutionärem Musterkunstwerk und globalisiertem Künstlermythos“
